The “Logic.”
It’s not always about things making sense when it comes to people…but it helps.
I wake up every morning thinking about how to make people realize purpose can always be found…but they just tell me to shut the hell up. That saying about horses and water makes sense the older I get.
So I try to change my tactics and try to lead by example…but nobody pays attention. They say that they appreciate everything I do but you can look into their eyes and just see lip service. Mom says to me that it matters only to the few that need to see what I have to offer.
It’s rough for me because I want there to be more balance in the world but just having these thoughts causes an imbalance in me.
Ignorance isn’t bliss…but it’s a nice substitute.

One part: Daughter.
Raised on a diet of devotion and clarity.
One part: Female.
Made of fear & vitality
One part: Black.
Created from desolate resolution.
One part: Warrior.
Trained to live for protection
All parts: Linian.
A protector that lives in shadows to protect mankind from Chaos’s design.
No parts: Delusion.
Nothing from pure, unadulterated ego distills the focus of my mind.
Man Writes Woman

Man is born from woman.
Man is boy at first.
Man observes world as boy.
But man definitely pays attention to woman.
Man thinks he’s figured them out.
Man also thinks women figured out men.
Man becomes man and finds out neither of them truly understand one another.
Man wants to write to understand himself.
Man wants to write to understand the world.
Man writes to understand woman.
Man has to fight against his idea of woman when he writes.
Man has to understand the plethora of women.
Man needs a drink.
Man picks up pencil and writes anyway because man loves woman.

Head of Security for the Kingdom of Old France
My lord, King Shard Destine, is a wise man. My lord, King Shard Destine, is a naive man. Our kingdom is a forward thinking culture. And because of that, our neighbors have a hard time understanding what we talk about most of the time. Our king believes we can talk them into being better people.
Better meaning equality for all peoples.
But that is a concept that they have no tolerance for.
So it is up to me and the rest of the Francellan military to make sure our neighbors don’t confuse kindness for weakness.
Thank God the Queen understands this.
Sometimes you have to punch someone in the mouth a few times before they get the picture. I wish it were different, but we humans are eternal knuckleheads.
I take no pride in being the strong arm… but I will defend my kingdom without hesitation.
This is a discipline that I will pass on to my daughters.
