Karen Weathers always considered herself an outsider.
Not in High School where’s she the most popular.
Not in her community, where she’s beloved.

The Linians, that’s what they were called.
It was almost a given that wherever Karen went,
people would flock to her congenial personality.
But there was one person that she could not break.
This person was her mission in life,
to protect him against those that would do him harm.
She was Terrell Dest’s bodyguard.
He had a connection to a man from long ago
named Prince Torell Destine.
And it was up to her to protect that link.
But he wouldn’t let her inside who he was.
And she grew tired of waiting outside…

I stare at my computer screen and it is not blank.
But I am.
I know the path before me.
I paved it myself but I can’t take the first step.
I’ve built a world populated with versions of myself.
A world full of Chaos and Order.
Of Angel and Demons that join forces.
Of a Boy and his Lost Child.
All that stands in the way of that world’s completion is me.

My spirit is full but my mind’s blank.
