“When I hear about Black pride, Irish pride, Jewish pride, Italian pride, Chinese pride and so on, they all mean the same thing to me: human pride.
Our differences should be celebrated for they make us the same. Like a wise ‘woman’ once said, ‘there are no borders in this world’.
So why do we keep making them?”- The Boy

There was an emptiness I allowed inside me.
I allowed the world to tell me I was not whole.
So I looked for a connection
and, in my desperation, I destroyed them one by one
looking for a feeling I could not get from anyone…
but myself.
The emptiness is still with me; it is my constant.
So I pray to God to fill it
but my mind already knows only I can do that.
The answer was in front of me all along.
The emptiness can’t be filled by one person.
It can only be filled by the world
I have to become the world so I can become whole.
